The First 5 Things Women Notice About You

In case you didn’t know: women check out men just as much as you gaze at them. The only difference? The things women notice about you first might not be what you think. It turns out you don’t have to have a large wallet or devastatingly good looks to get her attention.
These are the first five things women notice in a man:

1. Your Face

This is a no-brainer. If you have great grooming habits, women will take notice. There’s no need to have an extremely handsome face, just proof that you take care of yourself.
These are the main points of the face that women specifically notice first:
  • Eyes
  • Smile
  • Hair
  • Skin
This means it’s time to run to the store to pick up skincare products, some hair gel, and a whitening toothpaste if you haven’t already. A combination of proper grooming and quality eye contact is one step closer to impressing her.

2. Your Style

The next thing women notice is how you look from the neck down. They notice your silhouette, how your clothes fit, and how good your style is (or isn’t).
That being said, you must put in a little effort in the way you dress to send a positive message to those around you. Afterall, you never know who’s paying attention. Aim to dress mature, but also keep in mind that you should be dressing for comfort, too. If you’re uncomfortable, it can show through your body language. During the work week, try a great fitting suit that compliments your body or a dress shirt and pants. In a less formal setting, our lightweight sport shirts are always a winner.

3. The Details of Your Style

If you’ve made it this far, don’t get comfortable yet. You may have drawn her in with a nice shirt and pair of slacks, but it’s the up close details that could make or break you. To really stand out and get her attention, make sure these details are in tip top shape (pun intended):
  • Hair: make sure you combed it before you left the house. A little hair product never hurt, either.
  • Eyewear: find the ideal glasses or sunglasses that compliment your face shape.
  • Watches: a sleek watch is the perfect accessory and goes with almost any look.
  • Shoes: when it comes to dress shoes, don’t settle for cheap or fake leather.
  • Ties: always make sure you know how to properly tie the knot. A tie clip is a great addition, also.

4. Your Voice, Language, and Manners

When speaking to a woman, first impressions are key. A smile, direct eye contact, a firm handshake, and your full attention are all great ways to set a positive tone for everything that follows that moment. If you can’t show basic common courtesy to a woman, chances are that will be the last interaction you have with her. Avoid looking at your phone or anything else that might seem distracting.

5. Your Body Language

Last but not least, we all know that actions speak louder than words. Even if you’re engaging verbally, you should be aware of the non-verbal communication you’re giving off. Steer clear of any gestures or hand movements that might catch her off guard. Instead, focus on smooth, open body language at all times.
