Prom Contests: Terms & Conditions
$10,000 FUTURE READY Contest Rules (the "Rules")
The “$10,000 FUTURE READY” Contest (the "Contest") is organized by Tip Top (“Organizer”), doing business as Grafton Apparel (“Grafton Apparel”). The Contest runs from February 1, 2025, at 08:00 am EST to June 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST, with the winner (the “Winner”) to be drawn at random during the week of July 14, 2025.
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all students who:
- Are legal residents of Canada.
- Are of the legal age of majority in their province or territory of residence by the contest opening date or have obtained parental or guardian consent if they are a minor (under the age of majority).
- Have purchased a Tip Top suit and provided their school's unique identifier code at the time of purchase.
If the entrant is a minor (under the age of majority), they must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Contest. By entering, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the Contest Rules, consents to the collection of personal information as described herein and confirms their consent to the minor’s participation. If the minor is selected as the winner, the prize will be awarded to the parent or guardian on behalf of the winner, and the winner’s parent or guardian will be required to provide written approval and sign-off for the acceptance of the prize.
Employees, agents, and representatives of the Organizer, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and promotional partners are not eligible to participate. Immediate family members (father, mother, siblings, children, legal or de facto spouse) of such employees or representatives are also not eligible.
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1. To enter the Contest:
- Step 1: Purchase any Tip Top suit during the promotion period (February 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025).
- Step 2: Provide your school’s unique identifier code during the purchase process.
- Step 3: The purchase will automatically enter you into the Contest for a chance to win the $10,000 prize towards your future education needs.
2.2. Additional Entry Option (No Purchase Necessary)
If you do not wish to purchase a suit, you may still enter the Contest by submitting an essay (the “Essay”) that explains what you would do with the $10,000 prize and why you would appreciate receiving it. To enter via this option, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Write a 500-word Essay in response to the prompt: "What would you do with $10,000 towards your education and future goals?"
- Step 2: Mail your completed Essay, along with your full name, contact information (email and phone number), and date of birth to:

- Step 3: Your entry must be received by Grafton Apparel no later than June 30, 2025, to be eligible. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
- Step 4: By submitting an Essay, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Contest Rules and consent to receive marketing communications from Tip Top.
2.3. Limitations
- Only one entry per person will be accepted, regardless of the number of suits purchased.
- No purchase is necessary for entry.
3. PRIZE
The prize consists of one (1) cash award of $10,000 CAD (the "Prize"), which will be paid by cheque/EFT to the winner. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable. The winner must accept the Prize as awarded. If the Prize is forfeited or declined, no alternative prize will be awarded.
4. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on February 1, 2025, at 08:00 am EST and ends on June 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST (the "Contest Period").
5. WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS OF WINNING
5.1. Random Draw: A random draw will take place the week of July 14, 2025, from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The winner will be selected and contacted via email or phone.
5.2. Eligibility to Win: To be eligible to win the Prize, the entrant must have provided the correct school’s unique identifier code at the time of their entry. The winner will be notified and must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to claim the Prize. The odds of winning depends on the total number of eligible Entries submitted and received during the Contest Period.
6. PRIZE CLAIM AND NOTIFICATION
6.1. Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted by the Organizer by email or phone within 48 hours after the draw. The winner must respond within 48 hours to claim the Prize.
6.2. Skill-Testing Question: The selected winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be declared the winner of the Prize.
6.3. Form and Verification: The winner will be required to complete and sign a Declaration and Waiver Form. Failure to return the signed form within three (3) business days will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
7. PERSONAL INFORMATION
By entering the Contest, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest, notifying the winner, and promoting future contests, offers, and products from Tip Top. The Organizer will use personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
8.1. Right to Publicity: The winner agrees to allow the Organizer to use their name, photograph, and other likeness in promotional materials without additional compensation. The winner may be required to sign additional documents granting rights to their image.
8.2. Disqualification: Any entry that is incomplete, lost, illegible, or submitted via unauthorized methods will be deemed invalid. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for any issues with entries or technical difficulties.
8.3. Modification or Termination of Contest: The Organizer reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the Contest at any time without prior notice, for reasons including, but not limited to, fraud, technical failures, or any other factors outside the Organizer’s control.
8.4. Legal Compliance: The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of the province in which the Contest is conducted.
8.5. Acknowledgment of Rules: By entering the Contest, entrants agree to comply with these Rules and the decisions of the Organizer, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

$5,000 School Enhancement Contest Rules (the "Rules")
The “$5,000 School Enhancement Contest” (the "Contest") is organized by Tip Top ("Organizer"), doing business as Grafton Apparel (“Grafton Apparel”). - Are in Canada.
- Confirm participation in the Contest.
- Participate in Tip Top’s Prom Pledge School Experiences, with each event earning an additional entry (details at https://www.tiptop.ca/pages/tip-tops-prom-pledge).
Employees, agents, and representatives of the Organizer, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and promotional partners are not eligible to participate. Immediate family members (father, mother, siblings, children, legal or de facto spouse) of such employees or representatives are also not eligible.
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1. Automatic Entry
- Step 1: Confirm participation in the Contest.
- Step 2: Your school will automatically receive one (1) entry.
2.2. Additional Entries
Schools that participate in and host Tip Top’s Prom Pledge School Experiences will earn an additional entry for each event hosted.
2.3. Entry Limitations
- Schools are limited to a maximum of three (3) entries (one entry for participation + two additional entries for hosting Prom Pledge events).
- No purchase is necessary for entry.
3. PRIZE
The prize consists of one (1) cash award of $5,000 CAD (the "Prize"), which will be paid by cheque/EFT to the winning school. The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. $1,500 Prom Experience Enhancement Contest Rules (the "Rules")
The "$1,500 Prom Experience Enhancement Contest" (the "Contest") is organized by Tip Top ("Organizer"), doing business as Grafton Apparel (“Grafton Apparel”). The Contest runs from Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 08:00 am EST to Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST, with the winners (the “Winners”) to be notified by June 13, 2025.
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all schools that:
• Are in Canada.
• Participate in Tip Top’s Prom Pledge initiative.
• Achieve a minimum of 30 suit sales during the Contest Period.
Employees, agents, and representatives of the Organizer, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and promotional partners are not eligible to participate. Immediate family members (father, mother, siblings, children, legal or de facto spouse) of such employees or representatives are also not eligible.
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1. Qualifying Entry
• Step 1: Schools must achieve a minimum of 30 suit sales to qualify for the Contest.
• Step 2: Schools that qualify will be automatically considered for the Contest and will have the opportunity to win one of the three $1,500 prizes.
2.2. No Purchase Necessary Entry
If you do not wish to purchase a suit, you may still enter the Contest by submitting a written essay (the “Essay”) explaining how your school would enhance its prom experience with the $1,500 prize. To enter via this option, please follow these steps:
• Step 1: Write a 500-word Essay in response to the prompt: "How would your school enhance its prom experience with $1,500?"
• Step 2: Mail your completed Essay, along with your school's name, contact information (email and phone number), and the name of a school representative to:

• Only schools that meet the minimum requirement of 30 suit sales during the Contest Period, or those that submit a qualifying Essay, will be eligible to win.
• A school can only submit one (1) entry, either through suit sales or the Essay submission.
3. PRIZE
The prize consists of a $1,500 CAD cash award (the "Prize") to be awarded to up to three (3) winning schools. The Prize must be used to enhance the prom experience for students, such as by booking a photo booth, purchasing memorable keepsakes, or other similar activities. The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. The winning schools must accept the Prize as awarded. If the Prize is forfeited or declined, no alternative prize will be awarded.
4. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on February 1, 2025, at 08:00 am EST and ends on May 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST (the "Contest Period").
5. WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS OF WINNING
5.1. Winning Schools: Up to three (3) winning schools will be selected based on the highest number of suit sales during the Contest Period, or based on the merit of the submitted Essay, as reviewed by Tip Top.
5.2. Tie-Breaking: In the event of a tie for any of the top three positions, a random draw will be conducted to determine the winning school(s) among the tied schools.
5.3. Winner Review: Tip Top will review all participating schools' suit sales and Essay submissions on May 30, 2025, and select the winning schools accordingly.The odds of winning depends on the total number of eligible Entries submitted and received during the Contest Period.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
6.1. Winner Notification: The up to three (3) winning schools will be notified by Tip Top via email or phone by June 13, 2025.
6.2. Prize Distribution: The $1,500 cash prize will be distributed to the winning schools by June 30, 2025.
