How many stores does Tip Top have?
Tip Top has over 80 retail locations across Canada, with expert associates available for personalized fitting and styling guidance. Use our Store Finder to locate your nearest location.
Does Tip Top ship outside of Canada?
No, Tip Top ships within Canada only. Free shipping does not apply to addresses in Nunavut, Yukon, or the Northwest Territories.
What products does Tip Top sell?
Tip Top sells men's suits, tuxedos, suit separates (jackets, pants, vests), dress shirts, ties, pocket squares, sport jackets, knitwear, outerwear, dress pants, jeans, shorts, accessories, and boys' suits.
Does Tip Top carry clothing for boys?
Yes, Tip Top carries boys' suits suitable for weddings, graduations, and other formal events.
Orders & Payment
What payment methods does Tip Top accept?
Tip Top accepts Visa (including Visa Debit), MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay. Apple Pay on desktop requires a Mac.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your card will not be charged until your order is fulfilled and shipped.
Does Tip Top offer Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.)?
No, Tip Top does not offer C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery).
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Contact customer service as soon as possible at 1-800-465-1244 or supportTT@tiptop.ca. Orders are processed quickly and cancellations may not always be possible.
How long does order processing take?
Orders are processed 7 days a week and may take up to 72 hours. Orders placed after Friday at 9 AM ET will be picked up by the courier on the next business day.
I didn't receive an order confirmation email — what should I do?
Check your junk/spam folder first. If it's not there, contact customer service at supportTT@tiptop.ca or 1-800-465-1244 to have it resent.
Why did an item in my cart disappear?
Items in your cart are not reserved and can sell out. If an item disappears, it has likely gone out of stock — contact customer service for availability updates.
An item in my order was cancelled — why is it still showing online?
Inventory updates may be slightly delayed. If an item was cancelled, it was out of stock at the time of fulfillment; online visibility may not reflect real-time stock levels.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on orders over $99 (after discounts). Orders under $99 have a flat $8 shipping fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
How do I qualify for free shipping?
Your order total must be $99 or more after discounts are applied. Taxes and shipping fees do not count toward the $99 threshold. Free shipping does not apply to Nunavut, Yukon, or the Northwest Territories.
Does Tip Top run free shipping promotions?
Yes. Tip Top offers free shipping events throughout the year. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when the next one runs.
Which couriers does Tip Top use?
Tip Top ships via Canada Post and UPS depending on your location. To request a courier preference, email supportTT@graftonapparel.com immediately after placing your order — we'll do our best, but cannot guarantee a specific courier.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Estimated delivery times vary by location and exclude processing time (up to 72 hours). Tracking information may take several days to update online after your order ships. "Estimated Delivery Time" is not a guaranteed delivery date.
Can Tip Top deliver to a P.O. Box?
Yes, via Canada Post. You must include "P.O. Box" and your box number in the shipping address. Allow an additional 5–7 business days for P.O. Box deliveries.
Will my entire order ship in one package?
Not necessarily. Orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages and arrive at different times.
Is Tip Top responsible for courier delays?
No. Tip Top is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or local post offices, though our team will assist with any concerns where possible.
Returns & Exchanges
What is Tip Top's return policy?
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, saleable, and have original tags attached. Visit our Returns page for full details.
Is return shipping free?
Yes. Tip Top offers free return shipping by mail for online orders. Visit returns.tiptop.ca to generate your prepaid return label.
How do I return an online order?
Go to returns.tiptop.ca, enter your order number and postal code, and follow the prompts. Attach the prepaid label to your package and drop it off with the courier. Online orders can also be returned in-store.
Can I return an in-store purchase by mail?
No. Items purchased in a retail store must be returned to a Tip Top store within 30 days. In-store purchases cannot use the online mail return process.
Can I exchange items online?
Online exchanges are not currently available. We'll process a refund and provide a free shipping code so you can place a new order for the correct item. Contact supportTT@tiptop.ca for assistance.
What items cannot be returned or exchanged?
The following are excluded from all returns and exchanges: items that are worn, altered, washed, or have tags removed; shipping fees; in-store gift cards; and online e-gift cards.
Do I need my receipt to make a return?
Yes. In-store returns require the original sales receipt. Online returns to a store require your order confirmation email. Without a valid receipt, refunds may be issued as a Gift Card at the lowest sale price, at the Store Manager's discretion. Credit card or bank statements are not valid proof of purchase.
How long does a mail return take to process?
Mail returns can take up to 30 days to process and for the credit to appear on your account statement.
Can I receive a refund to a different payment method?
No. Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
What is the holiday return policy?
Orders placed on or after November 23rd can be returned by mail or in-store until January 15th.
Does Tip Top offer price adjustments?
Yes. Tip Top offers a one-time price adjustment within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt. Price adjustments are not available on orders placed during Free Shipping events. If the adjustment brings the total under $99, a shipping fee may apply. Contact customer service at 1-800-465-1244 or supportTT@tiptop.ca.
Why was my return rejected?
Returns may be rejected if items show signs of wear, washing, alteration, or if tags have been removed. Items rejected in unsalable condition may be sent back to the customer at their expense.
Sizing & Fit
What suit fits does Tip Top offer?
Tip Top offers Modern Fit (straight-cut with extra room in the chest, arms, and legs for an unrestricted, polished look) and Slim Fit (a tailored silhouette that narrows from chest to waist for a sharp, contemporary profile).
What is the difference between Modern Fit and Slim Fit?
Modern Fit is relaxed and comfortable with more room throughout the body. Slim Fit is more tailored, closely following the body's contour for a sleeker, more contemporary silhouette.
How do I measure my chest size for a jacket?
Wrap a soft tape measure around your chest just under your arms and across your shoulder blades, keeping it level and snug. The measurement in inches is your chest size. When between sizes, round up — it's easier to tailor a jacket down than to make it larger.
How do I measure for a dress shirt?
For neck size, wrap a tape snugly around the base of your neck. For sleeve length, measure from the center back of your neck, over the shoulder, and down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent. Use both measurements to find your shirt size on the product page.
How do I find the right pants size?
Measure your natural waistline (just above the belly button, below the ribs) for your waist size, and your inseam (crotch seam to just below the ankle) for length. When between sizes, choose the larger waist — tailoring can always refine the fit.
Does Tip Top offer tailoring or hemming?
Our store associates provide expert fitting guidance, and pants can be hemmed for a precise break. Visit your nearest Tip Top store for in-person fitting assistance.
Is there a size guide on the website?
Yes. Tip Top's size guide is accessible on all product pages and includes step-by-step measuring instructions for jackets, dress shirts, pants, and casual pants.
Weddings & Events
Does Tip Top offer wedding packages?
Yes. Tip Top offers discounted wedding bundle pricing for groups of 3 or more, with bundles starting from $199. Visit our Wedding page to explore all options.
What are the wedding bundle options and pricing?
Our most popular bundles include: a 6-piece bundle (jacket, pants, vest, shirt, tie, pocket square) from $349 (save $130); a 5-piece bundle (jacket, pants, shirt, tie, pocket square) from $299 (save $80); and a 3-piece-plus bundle (pants, vest, shirt, tie) from $199 (save $75). Prices are automatically applied when you add items to your look.
What is "Piece of Cake" and how does it work?
Piece of Cake is Tip Top's free online wedding suit coordinator. Create an event profile, add your party members, choose each person's look, and send personalized shopping lists to guests by email — all in 3 simple steps. Get started here.
How many people do I need to qualify for the wedding group discount?
A minimum of 3 guests are required to qualify for the wedding group bundle discount.
Can I manage my wedding event online?
Yes. After setting up your event, you can log into your Account dashboard at any time to track each guest's progress and update looks.
Does Tip Top have prom suits?
Yes. Tip Top has a dedicated prom section with style guides and head-to-toe outfit inspiration to help you look your best on prom night.
Does Tip Top rent suits?
No. Tip Top sells suits rather than renting them. Purchasing is often more cost-effective than renting — and you get to keep the suit.
Gift Cards
Does Tip Top sell gift cards?
Yes. Tip Top sells Digital Gift Cards in flexible denominations, delivered instantly to the recipient by email upon purchase. Shop gift cards.
Where can I use a Tip Top gift card?
Digital Gift Cards can be redeemed online at tiptop.ca or in-store at any Tip Top location across Canada.
How do I check my gift card balance?
Visit our Gift Card Balance Checker to check your balance at any time.
Can I return a gift card?
No. Both in-store gift cards and online e-gift cards are excluded from Tip Top's return and exchange policy.

Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. Customer service is closed on statutory holidays including New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, and Canada Day.

How do I check my order status?

How do I start a return?
Visit returns.tiptop.ca, enter your order number and postal code, and follow the prompts to generate a free prepaid return shipping label.
I see unexpected charges on my statement — what should I do?
Contact customer service at 1-800-465-1244 or supportTT@tiptop.ca. Pending authorizations can appear on your statement even if an order wasn't completed — these typically clear automatically.
